2016 NBA Finals: Revised Format, Schedule, NBA 2016 final date: Finally the 12-year-old pattern has been changed when National Basket Association revealed the new itinerary of NBA 2016 finals. NBA has never conducted final playoffs on Wednesdays and Fridays, but the format NBA opted since 2003 has been restored now. NBA has decided to give a two days break between the final face-offs of the teams. The main reason behind this decision was travelling. It consumes time and the players get tired of porting themselves from one city to another which also affects their performance on the field.

As NBA has totally refreshed the format of the finals, players are happy with this change as they will get enough time to rest so that they can give their best on the ground. The finals will commence on June 2nd 2016 and the back to back performances will be seen till June 19th 2016 i.e. the last day of NBA 2016 Finals. Total 7 games will be played and each game will be entertained after a two days gap. The show will go on for 18 days to rock the NBA fans.
The first match will be played on June 2nd 2016 on Thursday, after a two days gap second match is on June 5th 2016. Similarly, after a two days gap third match will be played on June 8th 2016, then there is only a day gap for fourth match as per the schedule decided by the National Basket Association. After that the fifth, sixth and seventh matches will be carried out after 48 hours slot from the previous match. Everyone is so keen to see their admired champion battling in the field and the organisation is also expecting better discharge from players because of the changed schedule.
