Sakshi Malik wins bronze first Olympics medal – Sakshi Malik won the bronze medal in the Women’s Freestyle 58 kg against Aisuluu Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan in Rio Olympics 2016. Sakshi Malik is only 23-year-old from Haryana won India its first medal, in the Rio Olympics 2016.

Sakshi Malik was born in Haryana state, where women were not allowed to take participate in wrestling events.
